Sun Enterprise has developed special production techniques for vacuum end effectors used in wafer handling. With bonding material designed to match the coefficient of expansion of high-purity alumina, we are able to produce the most robust and seamless vacuum end effectors offered on the market.
Our engineers will help you determine the proper design and coatings for your application.
Over the past 15 years, there has been a shift from bulky, cathode ray tube (CRT) televisions to slimmer, flat panel displays (FPD). As a result, FPD manufacturers began producing newer and larger displays that utilized chemical vapor deposition (CVD), a technique that places a thin coat of material onto display surfaces.
Sun Enterprise has established a ceramic grinding capability for large parts exceeding 60". We offer quick-turn prototypes for any design and provide long-term support for high-volume production needs.
High-powered lasers, such as Excimer lasers, require materials that are both electrically-resistant and thermally-resistant. We have seen a major growth in this market with the decrease in size of semiconductor features, now requiring more precise micromachining, and the emergence of new technology such as laser eye surgery.
Our engineers have years of experience manufacturing laser components and understand the material and manufacturing needs specific to this industry. We offer quick-turn prototypes for any design and provide long-term support for high-volume production needs.
Our engineering and product support teams understand the rigorous, material and machining requirements needed in harsh plasma and high-temperature environments. Together with our CNC machinery, we have built a variety of semiconductor-related products, such as lift pins and screws, vacuum end effectors, high-vacuum seal surfaces, and large 30" plus diameter rings and liners.
Sun Enterprise has provided high-quality, machined ceramic products since 2010. We offer quick-turn prototypes for any design and provide long-term support for high-volume production needs.
Sun Enterprise is a fully-integrated, materials processing facility serving a wide variety of industries. Specially-designed equipment for the harsh environment of ceramic materials is utilized in the manufacturing of ceramic screws and pins.
Through automation, Sun Enterprise is able to offer the highest-quality ceramic screws and pins at extremely competitive prices. Sun Enterprise produces high-volume screws as small as 0-80 threads. Specialty designs and threads can be quick-turned for testing in as little as one week.
Sun Enterprise is a fully-integrated, materials processing facility serving a wide variety of industries. Specialty vacuum chucks are manufactured to meet your specifications in regards to pore size, bond strength and flatness requirements.
Vacuum chucks, with metal or ceramic bases, are first manufactured and then bonded, lapped, and cleaned to your specifications. Vacuum chucks can be either epoxy-bonded, for applications such as dicing, or glass-bonded, for harsher applications such as CMP.
Our engineers will help you select the proper material for your application.
