Water Jet Cutting

Using high pressured water combined with an abrasive substance, our water jet machines can cut through ceramics and other materials quickly and accurately. For applications that do not require such tight tolerances, water jet cutting is a much faster method to cut material than typical grinding and is used in some cases to rough cut prior to final diamond grinding on a CNC Mill or Lathe. Unlike laser machining, it can be used to cut material with reflective properties. We are able to cut material ranging from a few inches to over 30 inches in diameter and applications as thick as 3” can be cut using this capability with tolerances of ± .010" or better being held.
