Surface Grinding

Sun Enterprise uses surface grinding for many applications that require a thickness, R_a finish and flatness requirement. We have developed multiple techniques for grinding ceramics and other hard materials. Using a combination of form wheels, slicing wheels, and profile grinding, we are able to create parts with different types of shapes and angles. Sun is able to grind parts up to 20” wide and 36” in length holding standard tolerances of ± .005" or better depending on size and configuration.
